Being a foreigner in a new country can be difficult, but it can also be the best time of your life! My biggest advise for traveling alone is: Be a YES person. Just say yes :) It will get you further and you will meet so many amazing people that you never would have met if you didn't cross the line of your comfort zone. (Of course, exercise common sense! dont say yes to EVERY random person on the street that wants to take you home. ;)
So this week I was invited to a big birthday party up in the woods with a huuuuge wonderful family. Of course I was nervous! :P But there was no need. The week following has been filled with laughter, spanglish, mezcal, silliness and new discoveries :)
